Ukrainian FM urges fans not to attend World Cup in Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin urged Ukrainian fans not to attend the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“I urge all Ukrainians not to attend 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The provocations are guaranteed, while safety and security is not assured,” Klimkin tweeted.

The World Cup in Russia will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018. The matches of the Championship will be hosted by 11 cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Sochi.
