Mohamed Salah wins Premier League best player award

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah won Premier League Player of the Season award, Liverpool press service tweeted.

“I'm very happy, it's an honour to win this award. It was always in my mind to come back to the @premierleague to show the people that say I didn't succeed here the first time.”

Kevin De Bruyne Raheem Sterling, James Tarkovsky, Harry Kane and David de Gea were also shortlisted.

Egyptian striker scored 31 goals and made nine assists in 35 Premier League appearances.
