Accordingly, Mkhitaryan, who scored against his former club in this game, was given a rating of 7.
“Wasted a glorious opportunity at the Stretford End. We have seen that one before. Super finish for the equaliser. Docked a point for not celebrating [his goal],” wrote the newspaper about the 29-year-old player.
Whoscored.com also named Mkhitaryan as the man of the match, and gave him a rating of 7.9. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has become the first footballer to score for and against Man United in the same season. The hosts, however, had won the match by a score of 2-1.

But following the match, Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger informed that the Armenian midfielder’s injury had recurred. Henrikh Mkhitaryan had suffered his initial knee injury on April 5, in the first leg of Arsenal’s Europa League quarterfinal match against CSKA Moscow.
