WBC reveals special belt for Martirosyan vs Golovkin fight

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman presented special belt for Gennady Golovkin fight with Vanes Martirosyan, Boxingscene reported.

The new belt is dedicated to WBC founder - Mexican President Adolfo Lopez Mateos.

Armenian Vanes Martirosyan will face Kazakh Gennady Golovkin on May 5 in Los Angeles at StubHub Center.

As reported earlier, American-Cuban professional boxer Erislandy Lara successfully defended his WBA and IBO super welterweight titles with unanimous-decision win over Armenian fighter Vanes Martirosyan in 2016.
