Henrikh Mkhitaryan may return to Arsenal match against Atletico

Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan may return to Arsenal squad for the Europa League semi-final with Atletico Madrid, said Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger.

“Mkhitaryan is running again. He has to progress in the next three of four days to see how much intensity he can have in his training sessions. Next Thursday is the earliest date for his return,” SkySports reported quoting Arsene Wenger.

Mkhitaryan was injured in the Europa League first-leg quarterfinals against CSKA Moscow.

Arsenal vs Atletico match will take place on April 26 in London, while the second-leg game is scheduled for May 3.  The Europa League final will take place on May 16, 2018.
