Arsenal lose without Mkhitaryan

Arsenal—but without Henrikh Mkhitaryan—have lost to Newcastle by a score of 1-2 in Sunday’s English Premier League match in Newcastle. The Armenian national football squad captain and the Gunners’ 29-year-old midfielder is still recovering from the knee injury he had suffered on April 5, in the first leg of Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League quarterfinal clash against CSKA. After the aforesaid loss, the Gunners remain in sixth place in the current season of the Premier League.
