Grenke Сhess Сlassic: Levon Aronian vs Nikita Vitiugov

The 7th round of Grenke Shess Classic tournament will be held on April 7 in Germany.

Leader of Armenian chess team Levon Aronian will compete with Russian Nikita Vitiugov. Levon Aronian was the winner of last year's Grenke Shess Classic with 5.5 points out of 7.

The tournament standings after the 6th round: Vachier-Lagrave, Caruana, Vitiugov- 4 points, Carlsen, Aronian- 3.5 points, Blaubau- 3, Naiditsch- 2.5, Anand, Yifan- 2, Meier- 1.5 points.
