Manchester United confirm termination of Zlatan Ibrahimovic contract
22:01 22 March, 2018Manchester United have confirmed 36-year-old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
"Manchester United confirms that it has agreed to the termination of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract with immediate effect. Everyone at the club would like to thank Zlatan for his contribution to the team since his arrival and wishes him well for the future," it said.
Meanwhile Ibrahimovic thanked the Manchester United community including his teammates, the staff and fans for their support.
Ibrahimovic, who joined the Red Devils in 2016 from Paris-Saint Germain, is expected to sign for LA Galaxy within the week.
