Cristiano Ronaldo named Portugal player of year

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was named Portugal’s player of the year, ESPN reported.

In 2017, 33-year-old football player won the Champions League, La Liga and FIFA Club World Cup. Ronaldo scored 42 goals in 46 appearances.

Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim was named Portuguese mens' Coach of the Year, while Ana Borges was named Portuguese women’s footballer of the year award.
