Zidane: When Cristiano is fine, the team is fine
14:41 19 March, 2018Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane commented on the 6-3 victory over Girona, highlighting the importance of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, Sky sports reported.
“Ronaldo is very important to us, he transmits an energy across the whole group. He knows himself very well and he knows when he has to stop a bit so that, when the end of the season arrives, he hits top form.But I also want to highlight his colleagues, who help him a lot. We have regained confidence and that has been evident in our home games. And then there is Cristiano. When Cristiano is fine, the team is fine,” said the coach.
With 22 goals in the domestic campaign, Cristiano Ronaldo is three behind Messi who sits atop on 25 goals.
