Vic Darchinyan may fight for championship belt (PHOTO)
12:25 5 March, 2018Former two-division world champion Vic Darchinyan, may fight for the championship belt, Vic Darchinyan told reporters.
According to Vic Darchinyan, although he retired in 2007, he wants to take one more championship fight
“I retired in 2007, but I agreed to another battle, when I found out that Evgeny Gradovich wanted to fight me. I won nine belts during my career, but I would like to win the tenth one and only then I can leave the ring.”
The 42-year-old champion now is in Armenia, where he intends to open his own promotional company.
“I want to open my own promotional company in Armenia to help Armenian boxers to succeed. They will have the opportunity to spar more, as well as to train in the United States,” said Vic Darchinyan.
Darchinyan’s last fight took place in Australia in 2017. During his career, the athlete won 43 fights out of 52.
