Brazil national team doctor: Neymar may miss 3 months after surgery

PSG star Neymar will miss from 2.5 to 3 months after the surgery, said Brazilian national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar.

“The recovery time is between two and a half and three months. Every player is different,” said the doctor.

Neymar will have surgery in Brazil later this week. The 26-year-old football player may not return to action until the start of the World Cup finals in Russia.

As reported earlier, Neymar was injured in the PSG game against Marseille.  PSG football player will miss the return match of the Champions League 1/8 with Real Madrid on March 6.
