Armenia's sole alpine skier at the Winter Olympics in South Korean Pyeongchang, Ashot Karapetyan said that he is not training because he does not have appropriate equipment.

"I have problems with equipment. In the last tournaments in Turkey and Iran I took skis of my friend which have been broken down during the first training in Pyeongchang. And the Armenian NOC did not provide me with new skis before the Olympic Games," he told NEWS.am Sport.

The Olympic Committee has already ordered new skis for me from Russia, but it is not yet known if they will be able to deliver me before my performance. If I can not train and do not get skis, then, naturally, I will refuse to participate in competitions, "Ashot Karapetyan said.
