Legendary boxer ends career with win

Former world middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr. (66-9, 47 KOs) has won the last bout in his professional boxing career.

The legendary American boxer faced countryman Scott Sigmon (30-12-1) in a 10-round cruiserweight title fight, and he defeated his opponent on unanimous points by the judges.

The two boxers fought in Pensacola, Florida, the hometown of 49-year-old Jones Jr.

As an amateur Roy Jones Jr. had represented the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in the light middleweight division.
