Buffon and Balotelli may be recalled to Italy squad

Acting manager of Italy’s national squad Luigi Di Biagio plans to recall Juventus Gianluigi goalkeeper and Nice forward Mario Balotelli to the Italy squad for the March friendlies, Football Italia writes on Thursday.

Italy will face Argentina and England on March 23 and 27 respectively.

Last  year Buffon left the Italy squad after it failed to qualify to the 2018 World Cup. Balotelli has not been playing for the national squad since 2014 World Cup.
