Barça break Guardiola-era record

By playing a draw with Espanyol on Sunday, Barcelona have made their unbeaten streak in the current season of the Spanish La Liga football reach 22 games, according toSPORT.

As a result, they have broken their own longest unbeaten run—of 21 matches—from the start of a La Liga season, and which they had achieved in the 2009/10 season, under then manager Pep Guardiola.

After 22 games, Barça still sit atop the standings of the current La Liga season.
