Australian Open: Wozniak and Aleppo to meet in final

Simona Halep and Dane Caroline Wozniacki will meet in the final of the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Wozniacki defeated Belgian Elise Mertens in the semi-final 6-3, 7-6, and Romanian Simona Halep defeated German Angelique Kerber in three sets – 6-3, 4-6, 9-7.

Australian Open final will take place on January 27.

As reported earlier, the current winner Serena Williams missed 2018 tournament.
