Official statement: Mascherano will continue his career in China

Argentine defender of Barcelona Javier Mascherano will continue his career in the Chinese club Hebei China, Barcelona website reported.

The parties have already agreed on the transfer of the 33-year-old football player.

The goodbye ceremony will take place on January 24 and will be attended by president of Barcelona Josep Maria Bartomeu and his team-mates.

The current contract of Javier Mascherano, who moved to Barcelona in 2010 from the Liverpool, is in force until summer of 2019.
