Armenia to have 3 representatives at 2018 Winter Olympics

YEREVAN. – Armenia will have three participants in skiing at the forthcoming 2018 Winter Olympics to be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. 

Gagik Sargsyan, Secretary General of the Armenian Ski Federation, told NEWS.am Sport that the country has achieved one Olympic qualification and was awarded two wild cards for this event.

“Armenia will have three representatives at the Winter Olympics Games: a woman and a man, each, in cross-country skiing; also one alpine skier,” Sargsyan said, in particular. “So, we will head to Pyeongchang with three Olympians.”

The cross-country skiers will train in Ashotsk village, whereas the alpine skier—in Tsaghkadzor town.
