Guardiola congratulates Alexis Sanchez
20:21 19 January, 2018Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has congratulated Alexis Sanchez on his imminent move to Manchester United, Goal.com reported.
Manchester City had made Alexis it priority target last summer and this month, Manchester City bosses pulled the plug on their pursuit after discovering that the 29-year-old and his agent had struck a deal with United.
"At the end what I know is he is still at Arsenal, I think he will go to United. Congratulations to both of them, the players and his agents decide where they want to play, good luck," Guardiola noted.
Having already agreed personal terms, Sanchez is set to complete his move to Manchester United over the weekend. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to join Arsenal as part of the deal.
