Zidane: We cannot say that Real Madrid played great game

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane commented on their 1-0 win against Leganes in Thursday’s first leg in the Spanish Copa del Rey quarterfinals.

“We played a serious game and the result is very good for us,” Marca newspaper of Spain quoted the French football specialist as saying. “It’s true that it cost us to find our normal play, but in the second half we were better and scored.

“We cannot say that we played a great game but we got an important result in a knockout round.”
The return leg is slated for January 24 in Madrid.
