Alexis Sánchez set to become Man United’s highest-paid footballer
01:33 19 January, 2018Arsenal forward Alexis Sánchez will become Manchester United’s highest earner if he joins with a salary of £450,000 per week, according to The Daily Mail newspaper of the UK.
As a result, the Chilean player will jump ahead of the Red Devils’ current No. 1 earner Paul Pogba, who takes home £260,000 per week.
Armenian national football squad captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan gets a weekly wage of £140,000 at United.
But the Arsenal player’s transfer to Manchester is lingering due to the respective negotiations with Mino Raiola, the agent of Mkhitaryan, and the financial demands of the London club. Aside from the Armenian international, they also demand an additional £10 million from the Red Devils, in return for Sánchez.
