Real Madrid’s Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave the Spanish club in the summer, according to AS.
The 32-year-old footballer has already announced his decision to his teammates.
For Ronaldo, Manchester United, where he played from 2003 to 2009, is the primary option for continuing his professional career.
The English club’s management also already knows about this wish by the captain of the Portuguese national squad.
Ronaldo is disappointed that Real Chairman Florentino Pérez did not fulfill his promise and did not raise his salary, which currently is €21 million per year.
The Portuguese star forward’s contract with the Meringues ends in June 2021.
