Messi among top 10 scorers in Copa del Rey history

By scoring two goals in Thursday’s Copa del Rey match against Celta Vigo, FC Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has increased his all-time goal tally in this annual cup competition for Spanish football teams to 46.
As a result, the 30-year-old Argentine has climbed to tenth place on list of top scorers in Copa del Rey history, informed the Barça website.
Barcelona defeated Celta Vigo by a score of 5-0 and advanced to the quarterfinals of this tournament.
