Barcelona opened up a 14-point lead over their Real Madrid and took a huge step towards securing the league title with a 3-0 win at the home of their rivals on Saturday afternoon.

Luis Suarez struck after half-time as he finished off a clinical counter-attack by slotting home a pass from Sergi Roberto.

Dani Carjaval was then dismissed for stopping Paulinho's goal-bound effort with his hand, Lionel Messi struck home from the penalty spot to double Barcelona's lead.
