Manchester City midfielder named the best young sports personality of the year

English midfielder of Manchester City Phil Foden has been named the Young Sports Personality of the year according to BBC.

This year, 17-year-old Foden became the world champion in the U17 England squad and scored two goals in the finalagainst Spain (5- 2). He was also recognized as the best football player of the tournament.

This season the midfielder marked his debut for the main team of Manchester City, thus becoming the youngest Englishman to play in the Champions League.
