Manchester United’s Angel Gomes signs first professional contract

Angel Gomes has signed the first professional contract with Manchester United, the press service of Manchester United reported.

The 17-year-old Angel Gomes was part of the England Under-17s' World Cup-winning side.

Angel Gomes is the first player born in the 2000s to appear in the Premier League. The midfielder also became United's youngest League player in the age of 16.
