Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented on the incident outside the dressing rooms following the derby, BBC reported.

“If we offended United - not just one player, not Jose - Manchester United, then I apologise,” said Guardiola.

The Manchester derby was followed by a scuffle in a dressing room. Manchester City players celebrated an away victory 2-1 which provoked the anger of United manager Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese specialist went to the dressing room oto express his discontent, after which the City goalkeeper Ederson started arguing with Mourinho in Portuguese. Angry Mourinho hit the goalkeeper with a plastic bottle, after which a massive fight began.

It is noted that active participant of the scuffle was Belgian striker if Manchester United Romel Lukaku, who threw the bottle in the assistant coach of Manchester City Miquel Arteta, who suffered a cut head.
