Grand Chess Tour: Armenia’s Aronian places 3rd

The London Chess Classic, which is the last stage in the Grand Chess Tour, has wrapped up in the British capital city with the victory of Grandmaster (GM) Fabiano Caruana (USA).
GM Levon Aronian (Armenia), however, placed seventh in London.
But Aronian, who plays first board for the Armenian national chess team, took third place in the final results of the Grand Chess Tour 2017, and he will receive US$91,250 in prize money.
