Skier Sergey Mikaelyan wins Armenia’s first 2018 Winter Olympics quota

Armenian skier Sergey Mikaelyan won the country’s first quota for the Winter Olympics that will take place on February 9-25 in South Korea, Secretary General of the Armenian Ski Federation Gagik Sargsyan told reporters.

The names of the competing athletes will be released on January 20.

Gagik Sargsyan noted that Sergey had a knee joint injury and is recovering now.
