Giggs: Manchester City still not on top

14:08   9 December, 2017

Manchester City will fail not to lose during the current season of the Premier League, former Manchester player Ryan Giggs said.

“They are obviously very good, and with the spending power that they have got, every year they get closer, but still United, with the record that they have got, to go with the top manager and the top players, are still on top, but the gap is closing,” Giggs told Sky Sport.

However, Giggs believe one cannot compare them to Arsenal or anyone else until they win a trophy.
Arsenal won the trophy in 2003-2004 season ending the tournament without a defeat.

Manchester City headed by Pep Guardiola tops the standings after gaining 14 victories this season and ending one match in a draw.

Manchester United will face Manchester City on Sunday.
