Robinho denies sexual assault

Former AC Milan and Real Madrid striker Robinho who was sentenced to nine years in jail on charges of sexual assault does not admit his guilt.

Robinho’s lawyer said in a statement that Robinho denied the charges and will appeal the court’s decision, The Irish Times reported.

As reported earlier, the incident occurred on January 22, 2013 in Milan. Robinho and five other Brazilians assaulted the woman, who was 22 at the time.
