Brazil to be most expensive national squad at 2018 World Cup
12:15 18 November, 2017Brazil will have the most expensive national squad at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.
According to transfer.markt’s calculations, the total transfer value of all Brazilian national team footballers amounts to €671.5 million. They are followed by Spain, Germany, France, and Argentina.
Panama, on the other hand, will have the cheapest national squad, at a mere €5.25 million.
The countries to compete in the 2018 World Cup finals are: Russia, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland, France, Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, Colombia, Croatia, Mexico, Uruguay, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Costa Rica, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal, Iran, Serbia, Nigeria, Japan, Morocco, Panama, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Australia
The group stage draws will take place on December 1, in Moscow.
The 2018 World Cup finals will be held from June 14 to July 15, in eleven Russian cities.
