Next Generation ATP Finals: Karen Khachanov starts campaign with defeat

Russia’s No.2 ranked tennis player, Russian Armenian Karen Khachanov, lost to compatriot Daniil Medvedev in four sets in Round 1 of the group stage in the 2017 Next Generation ATP Finals that have kicked off in Milan, Italy.
In this U21 tennis tournament being held with a new format, the winner of a match needs to win in three sets, and each set ends when a player wins four games.
