Neymar: I became angry when opponent hit my legs from behind

Paris Saint-Germain’s Brazilian forward Neymar commented on his being sent off during the French Ligue 1 football match against Olympique de Marseille.

Marseille forward Lucas Ocampos had brought Neymar down, and as a result, the Brazil international had pushed the Argentine player.

Consequently, both were shown yellow cards; and since this was Neymar’s second yellow card, he was sent off from the pitch.

“That was a very harsh and unfair decision,” Esporte Interativo quoted the Brazilian player as saying. “I was being hit in the legs throughout the game; there are many swelling on my body. The reason for [me] reacting that way was that they hit my legs from behind; I was angry. [And] the referee did what he wanted by allowing Marseille to have a man advantage.”
