Weightlifter Arpine Dalalyan declared U-20 European Champion

Representative of Armenia Arpine Dalalyan competing in the 90+ weight class won the champion’s title with a total score of 228 kg during the U-20 European Weightlifting Championships, taking place in Albania.

The Armenian athlete claimed gold medals both in the snatch (97kg) and clean and jerk (131kg).

Four representatives of Armenia – Samvel Gasparyan (105kg), Simon Martirosyan (105kg), Mkrtich Mkrtchyan (105kg), and Gor Minasyan (105 kg) are set to compete for medals today.
