UEFA Nations League: Armenia and Azerbaijan, Russia and Ukraine will not be drawn into the same
17:09 11 October, 2017Armenia and Azerbaijan as well as Russia and Ukraine will not be drawn into the same group during the UEFA Nations League draw.
“Russia and Ukraine will not be drawn into the same group. The same applies to Armenia and Azerbaijan if the current UEFA Executive Committee decisions still apply when the draw is made,” the statement on UEFA website reads.
A total of 55 nations will compete in four leagues (A, B, C, D) in this competition, and the group stage draws will be held on January 24, 2018 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The UEFA Nations League group stage matches will kickoff in September 2018, and the winner will become known in June 2019.
