2018 World Cup qualifiers: Kazakhstan footballer - Draw with Armenia was normal result

Kazakhstan national football squad and FC Kairat (Kazakhstan) midfielder Bauyrzhan Turysbek spoke about his impressions from Kazakhstan’s draw at home against Armenia, in their last group stage match in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

“It was a good game,” the Football Federation of Kazakhstan website quoted Turysbek as saying, in particular. “Both teams created scoring opportunities. Both we and the opponents could have scored goals.
“I believe the draw was a normal result.

“It was an even match.”

Sunday’s game in the Kazakh capital city of Astana ended in a 1-1 draw. Armenia national team captain and Manchester United (England) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the scoring in the first half. Kazakhstan, however, drew level in the second half, with the goal by Bauyrzhan Turysbek.
