For the first time in the history of independent Armenia, we had a participant in the final of the all-around competition at artistic gymnastics world championships and took 13th place; I’m very pleased with this result.
Hakob Serobyan, head coach of the men’s national artistic gymnastics team of Armenia, told the aforesaid to NEWS.am Sport, from Montreal, Canada.
Armenia’s Artur Davtyan placed 13th in the final of the men’s all-around competition at 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, which are held in Canada.
“Artur Davtyan performed very well; he garnered one point more than in the qualifying round,” Serobyan noted. “It’s the 13th place, it’s a good result, it pleases me.”
