Manchester United (a.k.a. Red Devils; England) manager José Mourinho advised the Red Devils’ Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimović to be patient and not to give way to emotions.

“I think we need him,” GOAL quoted Mourinho as saying. “We wait for him, but with patience. He has to be patient.

“He doesn’t have to be emotional and he doesn’t have to try to make crazy things to improve [recover] quicker in his mind.

“Because I know that his desire is to improve quicker. So [Mourinho wants him to be] calm – [take things] step by step.

“We want him, but we want him in his best condition.”

Earlier the Portuguese football specialist had said Ibrahimović will play an important part for Man United come January.

In his social media posts, however, the Swedish star hinted several times that he will be ready to help the team already in fall.
