10 years pass since Ian Porterfield’s passing

Monday, September 11, 2017 marks the 10th year anniversary of the passing of Ian Porterfield, former manager of the national football squad of Armenia.

The Scotsman had died of stomach cancer on this day in 2007.
Porterfield took helm at the Armenian national team in August 2006. Under his coaching, they achieved great progress and played several impressive and memorable games.
During his coaching years, Ian Porterfield had worked also at the coaching staff of Chelsea F.C. of London.
