US Open: Venus Williams is out
10:30 8 September, 2017Americans Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys will go head to head in the final of the women’s single at the US Open tennis tournament, which is wrapping up in New York City.
Both athletes will play in a Grand Slam final for the first time in their professional tennis careers.
At the semifinals of this year’s US Open, Keys defeated compatriot CoCo Vandeweghe while Stephens beat US tennis star Venus Williams.
Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys have played against each other only once before, and 24-year-old Stephens had won this match.
