Levon Julfalakyan: Two gold medals are excellent result
17:08 23 August, 2017Head coach of Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team, Olympic champion Levon Julfalakyan summed up the results of the 2017 World Wrestling Championships, during which Artur Aleksanyan (98 kilos) and Maksim Manukyan (80 kilos) became champions.
“Two gold medals are an excellent result. We will work on mistakes,” he said at Zvartnots International Airport where fans gathered to welcome world champions.
Julfalakyan noted that Maxim Manukyan changed his weight from 85 kg to 80 kg, and he was unequaled in his weight category.
“Artur Aleksanyan is considered the best in his weight category, so he just needed to perform without misfires, which he managed to do.
Artur Shahinyan and Karen Aslanyan could have achieved more. In general, the tournament passed without gross judicial errors,” he noted.
