Manchester City (England) manager Pep Guardiola believes it is possible that the €300-million buyout clause for FC Barcelona’s (Barça; Spain) Argentine forward Lionel Messi could be activated.

Asked whether Messi’s buyout clause could be activated, Guardiola responded: “I don’t know. Someone might have if they have the money and want to spend it,” reported Goal.com. “It might happen.”
According to the Spanish and English media, Manchester City will pay this amount if it gets Messi’s consent.
