Armenia chess masters place first and second in Spain

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s chess players have captured first and second places at the Memorial Miquel Castella tournament, which was held in Spain. 

Grandmaster Karen H. Grigoryan and International Master Tigran S. Petrosyan won their matches in the last—ninth—round and shared first place, with 7.5 points, apiece.

A total of 143 chess players competed in the tournament, according to chess.am chess website of Armenia.
