World athletics championships 2017: Armenia’s sole representative competes

The sole representative of Armenia did not pass the qualification round at the 2017 International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships being held in London.
Narek Ghukasyan competed in the 400m men’s race, but he came in last—in 49th place.
Even though 52 runners were registered in this competition, two of them were disqualified, whereas one athlete did not start.
