Spanish FA president Villar arrested

Spanish FA president Angel Maria Villar and his son were arrested on Monday, Marca reported.

Villar, 67, was detained during an anti-corruption operation.

Economic vice-president of the Spanish FA, Juan Padron was also arrested.

The alleged crimes include improper management, falsifying documents, private corruption, misappropriation and possible asset stripping, all in relation with Spain national team friendlies.
