Michael Essien's wife purchases Italian football club

Famous Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien’s wife became the new owner of Italian third-division club Como.

Akosua Puni Essien purchased the club at an auction for €237,000.

Former football player of London Chelsea, Real Madrid and Italian Milan, Michael Essien now plays for the Indonesian club Persib Bandung.
