Champions League: Armenia’s Alashkert hold pre-match training in Belarus

FC Alashkert (Yerevan, Armenia), who are in Minsk for Game 1 of their Champions League second qualifying-round match against FC BATE Borisov (Belarus), on Tuesday held pre-match training session in the Belarusian capital city.

The Armenian Premier League football 2016/17 season champions’ all 19 footballers who arrived in Minsk took part in this training.

Separately, the managers of both squads held press conferences before training. 

Alashkert head coach Abraham Khashmanyan noted that they know the Belarusian club very well.

The BATE-Alashkert clash is slated for Wednesday, and the kick-off is at 9:30pm Armenia time.
