World Cup: Armenia sambo wrestlers win 2 medals

The Armenian national sambo team won two medals at the Nursultan Nazarbayev Awards international tournament that was held in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan, and which is a world sambo cup stage.

Accordingly, Tigran Kirakosyan (57kg) and Vahagn Chalyan (82kg) became bronze medalists in their respective weight classes.

This year around 200 athletes from 16 countries took part in the competition, informed the National Olympic Committee of Armenia website.
